Wicked Crafts is Hong Kong-born composer Shawn T. Hui. Born out of a transcontinental relocation in 2009, Wicked Crafts morphs from its minimal DIY sound to a nightmarish psychedelic synth-scape. The exposure of the diverse Montréal underground has inspired him to blend different genres into its darkwave core, while working with a wide range of underground labels across the globe (FLA, Skrot Up, Electric Voice, Oraculo).

His return to his hometown, Hong Kong, brought a long hiatus to the project, but the pandemic has driven him to re-examine and explore all the sound recordings from his previous life. His most recent full length cassette is now available from Raptor Crew.
